Membership subscription benefits allow organizations to give a journal or other publication to members at no charge with the purchase of a membership. Members receive subscription benefits the entire duration of their membership, unless specified otherwise.
The member subscriptions (if any) that automatically populate on the Member Subscriptions screen in Order Entry were added on the Rate Code Extensions screen when your organization defined the membership product.
Associates
with an Associate Status of "Cancelled" will not display in
the list of Current Subscriptions.
The system evaluates the Begin Date of the membership product, the rate structure, and the rate code to determine if the customer is eligible for the subscription benefit. This eligibility evaluation occurs when you perform any of the following tasks:
Create a membership order
Activate a proforma membership order
Change the start date on the membership order
Transfer a membership order line to a new product
Update the rate structure on a membership order line
Update the rate code on a membership order
Add a named associate entitled to a membership subscription benefit
Manually renew an individual membership
Run ORD650 to generate membership renewals
