Data Analyzer in BusinessObjects

Data Analyzer is a new feature in Personify that lets non-technical business users create or use Ad-Hoc query reports using data from the Personify database. Data Analyzer is fully integrated in the Personify application and uses BusinessObjects InfoView as its BI tool. BusinessObjects InfoView, or Webi, is a web-based query and analysis tool that is seamlessly integrated into your Personify application. Data Analyzer uses the Reports > Personify Data Analyzer portal to view and manipulate reports.

Instead of having to use a complex database to extract information, Data Analyzer presents a true business representation of your organization’s data. This is done using a BusinessObjects universe, which is part of Business Objects’ patented semantic layer that is located between the interface and the database. Universes contain classes and objects that map to database data, allowing you to build queries with the universe. These queries can be used in the Marketing subsystem to create and refresh marketing lists.

Data Analyzer comes with a number of pre-defined reports that can be found in the Data Analyzer folder. You can easily modify all the reports to suit the needs of a particular organization. Some examples of these reports include the following:
