This
section is intended for Web Masters and DotNetNuke (DNN) site administrators
who need to administer a DNN site using Personify e-Business modules.
Personify e-Business is a toolkit utility designed to assist Webmasters and Host Users in managing websites. Using Personify e-Business reduces the amount of time, resources, and the expense of maintaining websites. Functionality accessed through the Personify e-Business interface assists users in modifying content of Personify e-Business base webpages and integrating webpages into existing websites.
Beginning
with the 7.1.3 release, Personify includes the functionality to provide
your customers the ability to pay for products using a multitude of currencies,
each on a separate portal. With the 7.3.1 release, TMA Resources also
added the ability to set
up multiple currencies on a single portal. E-Business specific setups
concerning multiple currencies can be seen in Using
Multiple Currencies in Personify e-Business.
Functionality included in Personify e-Business allows users to:
· Change the look and feel of the entire website. Users can apply new style sheets and skins.
· Change menu/tab items and associated links in the header and other menus.
· Change the layout of existing pages by adding new modules and deleting and/or moving existing modules.
· Create new webpages using Personify e-Business Web Modules or canned web modules included with the base sample e-commerce website.
· Modify the module properties of a page, including containers, images, and icons.
· Add new web modules (developed separately) into the Personify e-Business database and use them in existing pages.
Personify e-Business also provides access for configuring Personify e-Business Web data. For example, using Personify e-Business, customers can make the Personify back-office Web control features available over the Web for Webmasters.
All
Personify e-Business applications are only officially supported in Internet
Explorer 6/7/8 and Firefox 3.5. All system admins and Web users must enable
cookies and JavaScript while using the applications or webpages. If not,
the page will not display correctly.
