Personify Reports Overview

The Personify application offers a variety of base reports in the application that cater to subsystem-specific data:

·            Batch: created using the TIMSS API Library. Please be aware that TIMSS APIs do not contain all the same business logic as Personify APIs. Therefore, any customizations made to the base TRS processes must only be used in specific applications after consulting TMA Resources and your Account Specialist.

·            Online: these reports have a 7-character name, the first 3 characters being the subsystem code and the last 4 digits being a number from 1000 - 6999. User-defined reports are to be given numbers from 7000 - 9999. The base naming convention for the four-digit number includes:

o           1000-1299 = Lists, Letters, Rosters, Directories

o           1300-1999 = Customer/Member Profile Reports, Activity Reports, Purchase History Reports, Sales and Revenue Reports

o           2000-2999 = Subsystem Setup Reports, Product Listing Reports

·            Webi: (Web Intelligence) a third-party reporting tool from Business Objects that integrates with Data Analyzer and Personify which gives you the ability to create and view custom, or on-the-fly, reports.

The reports are divided by subsystem and listed in sequential order. This reports section provides a brief description and example of each report delivered in Personify. In addition to the description and sample report output entered for a report, you may also find recommendations for when and how often to run the process, what occurs “behind the scenes” when you run a process, and extended descriptions for process parameters.

Note.pngIn the back office, all online roster and directory reports where the last character in the report name is “E” (for external), respect this “Confidential” flag for addresses and the “Include in Directory” flag for communication methods. For example, MBR1200CE and MBR1200PE. MBR1200CE means it is a report that lists companies first (hence the “C” in MBR1200CE) and then the employees, and it’s an external report (hence the “E” in MBR1200CE), meaning that it is intended to be viewed by people outside the organization. MBR1200PE means it lists individuals  (hence the “P” for “professionals” in MBR1200PE), and it is intended to be viewed by people outside the organization (hence the “E” for “external” in MBR1200PE). The confidential flag is ignored on internal reports, which are reports that have an “I” as the last character in their name (e.g., MBR1200CI and MBR1200PI).

For extensive information about individual subsystems and their workings, TMA Resources recommends that you reference that subsystem’s section in the Help.
