Scenario 3: Performing a Batch Address Validation using the CUS530 Process

The CUS530 process validates addresses using a batch process. The CUS530 process selects the address from either a file or a Personify database table (by default, the process selects all addresses with a status code of GOOD and BAD).

Once the process has validated the addresses, the validated addresses are updated in the Personify database table and/or file.

To perform a batch address validation using the CUS530 process:

1.    From the toolbar, select Reporting > Job Submission.

2.    In the Application text box, type CUS530 and click Search.

3.    Double-click the application CUS530 from the search results grid.

4.    Enter the job parameters in the Job Submission screen.

Make sure to select the Run Mode as “PROD” to ensure the process updates the database.

5.    From the task bar, click Run this Report Now.
