Configuring the Promotional Products Cross-Sell Control

This control displays a promotional list of related products to the current product. The Cross-Sell Control will allow you to promote items that could be related to what the user is buying. For example, if you are selling an e-Reader, you may also want to promote e-Reader protective covers or featured books for the customer to buy. This differs from the other promotions because it allows you to promote something specific that you believe the reader should buy if purchasing a specific item. Prerequisites

Note.png Cross-Sell needs to be manually defined in Personify back-office.

Products must be web-enabled (verified in TMAR_WEB_PRODUCT_VW) and have a current relationship type of "Cross-Sell" to display, as shown below. A product ID is required to determine where to begin. The display's sequence order is completely random. Up to twenty-five products can display on one page.

Customer Impact

The Cross-Sell Control will display anywhere you place it on your site. TMA Resources recommends placing it in the Product Detail page where you are trying to sell items together. This control is product-specific. After configuring the appropriate back office and web settings for the Cross-Sell control, your customers will see the control similar to the one highlighted below.
