Testing your Mobile Changes in S3

Once you have configured the necessary settings, it is now time to test your changes. The changes you made to the Personify Mobile application should be tested in the iPhone, Blackberry, and Android.

To test your changes:

1.    Ensure that you have filled out all the required fields and clicked the Save button on each page in which you made changes.

2.    From the toolbar at the bottom of the S3 page, click Save as Test.

3.    Enter an Email and click Send to send the test URL to the appropriate person.

4.    Save the test URL on your server.
You can save the URL from the email sent in the step above, from the screen above, or click the Test URL at the top of the S3 screen:

To test the iPhone:

1.    From the iPhone home screen, click Settings.

2.    Select “Personify” from the Apps list.

3.    Select the Reset User Settings?, Repair Database?, and Empty Image Cache? checkboxes.

4.    From the Config URL field, paste the URL.

5.    Close the Settings window.

6.    Verify your changes.

To test the Blackberry:

1.    Open the Personify Mobile application on the mobile device.

2.    Click the Menu button, and then select Settings.

3.    Select the Reset User Settings? and Empty Cache? checkboxes.

4.    From the Config URL field, paste the URL.

5.    Click Apply.

6.    Verify your changes.

To test the Android:

1.    Open the Personify Mobile application on the mobile device.

2.    Click the Menu button, and then select Settings.

3.    Select the Reset User Settings?, Repair Database?, and Empty Image Cache? checkboxes.

4.    From the Config URL field, paste the URL.

5.    Click Apply.

6.    Verify your changes.
