Customers themselves can represent a segment. For example, a company can be made a segment and add its employees to this segment. Then, an employee from the company can be given control over a segment(s) and can perform the appropriate functions.
To create a segment that the customer represents:
1. On the CRM360® screen, from the Background Information task category, click
Segmentation Details, as shown below.
The
Segmentation Control screen displays, as shown below.
2. Navigate to
the Make
this Customer a Web Segment tab,
as shown below.
3. Select the
Create Web Segment checkbox.
When checked, the Segment Rule Code and Qualifier fields are enabled. See
image below.
4. Enter a Description.
5. Check the Can Create Segments checkbox, if necessary.
6. Click Save.
