The PRM file is a parameter file used to configure universe creation and SQL query generation in Web Intelligence products. There is a PRM file for each supported RDBMS. PRM files are located in the following folder:
<INSTALLDIR>\dataAccess\RDBMS\connectionServer\<rdbms>\
See the Data Access Guide for full information on modifying parameter files. Before using an analytic function, you should verify that it is listed in the PRM file. If it is not listed, you can add the name of the function to the list. Designer will then support its use in the Select statement for an object.
