To create a customized TRS report:
1. From the toolbar, select Reporting > TRS Application Setup.
The Reports Maintenance (TRS001) screen displays.
2. Click Create New.
3. Set Submit Type to BATCH.
4. Set Application Type to CRYSTAL.
5. Set the Program file to TRSRunCrystal.exe
6. On the Job parameter section, the first column, Parameter name must match with the parameter name given in Crystal Report.
Parameter names cannot have spaces in Personify or the Crystal Report). Enter parameter caption with the user friendly name.
7. Click Save.
8. Click the Job Files task and add a row for “File type” as “Crystal Report File”. For File name, enter your crystal report file name. (Do not include the .rpt extension- “FAR701.rpt” is entered as “FAR701”.) Choose the print style of Portrait or Landscape.
9. Click Save.
10. Setup the security for this report from the “Application Security Setup” screen by assigning appropriate groups with view and run privilege.
11. Now you may create new user setup from the Job Parameters Maintenance Screen (TRS002).
a. Search the process you created (e.g FAR701).
b. Click New User Setup button to create a new setup.
c. Fill in the Code (typically add an “_A” or “_B” to the end of the application name,) Description and Help Text.
d. It is required that you pick a Job Queue.
e. If one report should end and another start automatically, you can use the Parent Application and Parent Setup Code fields.
f. In the Job Parameters you should see your report parameters.
You can set the Prompt value to Yes if you want the user to get a prompt for this value when the report is submitted.
Do not name your report with the same name as the TRS process. If you do so, the base report will be overwritten and the base process will be broken.
