If Personify contacts or contact tracking records are updated in Personify, you need to synch the changes to Outlook to ensure accurate contact information at all times. The Synchronization tab on the Personify Account Settings screen allows the user to select when the synchronization of tasks from Personify to Outlook should happen.
By default, tasks will automatically synchronize each time you open Outlook. The manual synchronization feature has not been implemented yet and will be available in a future release.
To automate task synchronization:
1. From
the Personify Account Settings screen, access the Synchronization
tab.
2. Select one of the following options:
· When Starting Outlook: (not implemented) automatically synchronizes tasks each time you open Outlook.
· Do Not Synchronize: synchronization is not automatic and only happens when you click the Synchronization icon in the Personify Actions section on the Tasks ribbon.
3. Click Apply.
4. To close the Account Settings screen, click OK.
