Changing an Individual Name

The Formatted Label Name displayed at the top of the Individual Name Edit screen is comprised of the Prefix, First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, and Suffix fields. This label name is displayed at the top of the Customer Central screen.

To change an individual’s name:

1.    Access the Individual Name Edit screen (shown below) from one of the following ways.

·            On the Customer Central screen, from the Common Tasks category, click Change my Name or click Change Name from the Customer Details tab.

·            On the Call Center screen, from the Demographics category, click Change my Name or click Change Name from the Customer tab.

2.    Select the Prefix from the drop-down menu, if necessary.

3.    Enter the first, middle, and last names.

4.    Select the Suffix from the drop-down menu, if necessary.

5.    Click the Credentials link and search for credentials the customer has earned.

6.    Enter a Nickname, if necessary.

7.    Enter the Formal Salutation and Informal Salutation, if necessary.

8.    Click Save.
