Installing Mobile on BusinessObjects Server

1.    Create a folder named “BO_SP5_Mobile” on your BOE server.

2.    Navigate to the following file path in the Personify installation package:
..\Business Objects\Software Upgrades\SP5\Mobile

3.    Copy the Mobile_SP5.exe to the above created temp folder.

4.    Double click on the .exe file and follow the installation wizard.

5.    Once the installation is complete, perform the following:

a.    Copy the MOBIServer.war and MOBIServer.war file to
\\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\Tomcat6\webapps.

You can find the MOBIServer.war and MOBIServer.war files at the following location of your BusinessObjects Mobile installation: \\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\Mobile 14\Server.

b.    Once the installation is complete, run all the batch files that you ran initially while performing fresh install, as installing the Mobile SP5 will reset the BOE and restore the defaults. These batch files are located in the following location, per your Personify release:

·            P:\Personify\Releases\7.x.x\Package\BusinessObjects\Fresh Install\Analyzer Image

·            P:\Personify\Releases\7.x.x\Package\BusinessObjects\Fresh Install\BOE Server Files

·            P:\Personify\Releases\7.x.x\Package\BusinessObjects\Fresh Install\Misc

 These files need to be updated in order to make Personify dashboards work with BOE.

Do not overwrite any existing jar files. When you are asked to overwrite files while pasting, select “No”.

c.    Navigate to the following location on Business Objects server and copy all jar files:
Business Objects\Tomcat55\webapps\AnalyticalReporting\WEB-INF\lib

d.    Paste the copied files to the following location on the BusinessObjects server:
Business Objects\Tomcat55\webapps\InfoViewAppActions\WEB-INF\lib

e.    Restart TOMCAT to deploy the .war files.
