Xcelsius 2008 is a product of Business Objects and is a designer tool used to develop dashboards which you can build using universes, Data Analyzer reports, and Live Office. Please refer to “Building Xcelsius Dashboards for Personify” for details on building dashboards.
The steps below provide instructions for a client install of the Xcelsius Designer Tool and should be performed on the client machine.
To install the Xcelsius 2008 SP5 application:
1. Create a temporary folder called “Xcelsius” on the local drive of the client machine.
2. Navigate to the following file path in the Personify installation package:
. . . \Business Objects\Software Upgrades from BusinessObjects.
This contains the zip file Xcelsius 2008 with SP3.zip.
3. Unzip Xcelsius 2008 with SP5.zip to the temporary folder you created in step 1.
4. Double-click setup.exe.
5. Enter the product key and follow the installation wizard to complete the installation.
